Wordpress CSS img help.

Post by MindInRewind on Sat Apr 06, 2013 3:47 am

Unfortunately, I'm doing everything offline, so I can't post an example of my site. I'm having problems with the CSS of the content of posts on my Wordpress theme I am creating (taking me FOREVER as i'm new to this stuff). As of now I have this:

.post .entry-content, .post .entry-summary {
   padding: 0 20px 20px;

.post p {
   margin-bottom: 20px;

.entry-content img {
   max-width: 100%;
   height: auto;
   margin: 0;

Now, what this is doing is adding padding to the entire .post (images and text). But, what i really would like is 0 padding/margin left and right of the image but have 20px padding/margin left and right on just the text of the post.

I doubt this is very confusing with out showing you - but I thought i would take a shot in the dark and hope that someone understands what I am talking about and can help me.

thank you very much.
