Topic Solved Changing Legend Format

Post by RoRo on Sat Jun 30, 2012 11:11 pm

My legend is all italic. Legend: [Administrator], [Moderator], etc.

Is there any way to make it normal?

Also, is there a way to get rid of the [ and ]?

I want the Legend to look like this:

Administrator | Moderator | Member , etc.

*Of course, having different colors for each group.

Also, if possible, can I have a group look like this:
+Premium where the + is one color and the Premium is another?
(the members of this group will be set up the same +Name)

It's PunBB.

But how would I be able to do it on PunBB and phpBB3?

The easiest way would probably be to edit the templates - delete the default legend format, and create your own as you want it.

I guess this kind of relates with the Legend and Groups, so here it is.

Matti, this is what I meant about the users name:

*Look at the +Premium on the legend, and the users name on the top*

Is there really no way for this to happen?

- I think this forum is run with IPB so I'm not sure Forumotion allows it. But is there any way at all to code it? It would help out a lot of people because I've seen posts from other people requesting something like this.

Hi, you might be able to do so by editing your CSS stylesheet. I assume it would help to view this thread;

Though, if you don't know any HTML and CSS (nor template editing), then can you use this piece of JavaScript:
Code:
$(function() {
   var string = document.getElementById("onlinelist").getElementsByTagName("p")[2];
   string.innerHTML = string.innerHTML.replace(/\Legend :   /g,"").replace(/\[/g, "").replace(/\]  /g," |").replace(/\ ] /g,"");
});
